The international music competition “Three Americas Music Competition” focuses on the music of North, Central and South America. It proposes repertoire that draws attention to and promotes lesser-known and unknown composers from the Americas.
There are many musical treasures on the American continent that enrich our universal cultural heritage but are in danger of being forgotten or lost altogether in the globalisation process. The organisers of the competition want to counteract this development and make visible the richness of the music of the 3 Americas, which is a multi-faceted fusion of local, ethnic, popular and classical music.

Three Americas Music Competition is an international music competition for musicians of all ages and from all countries.
The competition is open to violin & piano, viola & piano and cello & piano duos.
It is held online in five categories in two competition rounds each.
The participants choose their repertoire from the music of the three Americas.
The scores of the selected works and the videos of their recordings will be sent to the jury.

El concurso internacional de música “Three Americas Music Competition” se centra en la música de América del Norte, Central y del Sur. Propone un repertorio que llama la atención y promueve a los compositores menos conocidos y desconocidos de las Américas.
En el continente americano hay muchos tesoros musicales que enriquecen nuestro patrimonio cultural universal, pero que corren el peligro de caer en el olvido o de perderse del todo en el proceso de globalización. Los organizadores del concurso quieren contrarrestar esta evolución y hacer visible la riqueza de la música de las 3 Américas, que es una fusión polifacética de música local, étnica, popular y clásica.
